Concealed Carry App - CCW Laws App Reviews

I was looking for more details... Specifics of laws other than simple reciprocity. I can cover that with a simple list.

After a few startup issues,I contacted the developer and they personally worked with me, now the app works great. There is a lot of information on each state. Very useful app. If you carry a firearm.

If you travel this is a must have app. Its well done, easy to use, nice features and information.

As someone who has multie state CCW permits, this makes it easy for me to quickly look up laws and what is required of me.

I have purchased numerous CCW apps and so far this is the most polished and professional version out there. Very clean interface with lots of good information. I looked forward to its continued development.

Great looking app, very finished in appearance and functions great. Cant wait to see what the future/updates bring. Would like ability to add expiration dates/reminders, but assume that will come in the future.

High quality app. Great design. Easy to use. No glitches. I love the option for multiple permits. As a programmer, Im impressed with the finish compared to other apps like it.

Though not all inclusive it is updated regularly and makes for a good quick reference when traveling. Just be sure to look up details with the state your in if unsure.

This is a decent little app, and it does provide a rough idea of what a concealed carry license holder needs to know from state to state. Where it falters, however, is in the details. For example, it lists concealed carry fees for Texas, but doesn’t list the $25 fee for veterans. It notes that OK is an open carry state, but says nothing about the Native American reservations, most of which are FAR more restrictive than the state. It says one can carry into a bar, but it doesn’t mention Texas’ 51% rule, which prohibits carry in a bar that derives more than 51% of its income from alcohol, and posts the specified sign. So, use this app wiseness, and with some degree of caution, and you’ll find it’s well worth the modest price.

Completely accurate, custom molded to your carry status, and extremely useful. Awesome reference! (developer needs to fix an issue with changing residence state)

This app gives the basics of Concealed Carry in the various states. It has where each states permit is honored and where it is not honored. It also has information on the requirements to carry in a particular state and the cost of obtaining a resident or non-resident permit. Where it lacks information, it points you to where to find the detailed information of each state. A must have information resource if you wish to carry in various states.

There is no useful info. Appreciated reciprocity map, but that is best feature. Dont look for this to keep you up to date on laws and regs. So vague in state descriptions. Feel suckered.

Not user friendly, doesnt answer my primary question as to what locations will not let me carry or those where a carry is illegal in each state where I will travel. I found it difficult to get any usable information.

I hold a South Carolina permit, and your app says that I cant carry in a restaurant that serves alcohol which was changed in September of 2014.

Im concerned about how accurate the info REALLY is. For example, App says "No" to "Open Carry" in MN, however, it is legal to do so. Not comfortable relying on it if I travel outside the state.

App opens and wont allow you to use the functions it is supposed to do.

Dont waste the $1.99. This app has to be some kind of scam. The ccw contents per state are totally incorrect and basically nonsense. Its one star because you had to enter at least one.
